Editing the post copy and handles
What you can change in the review step, the length limit, and why edits go to review.
The review step shows the post exactly as it will go out: the copy, your podcast's artwork, and the account handles for each network.
The copy
The draft is written from your feed and the answers you gave. Change anything you like, with one limit: the post has to be between 180 and 300 characters, because Bluesky and Reddit stop at 300. Around 220 to 280 reads best across all six networks.
Occasionally we can't write a draft for a show and you'll see a plain starting point instead. Treat it as a blank page.
Any edit sends the feature to our editors before it is scheduled (see Publish dates and approval). We may tidy the final wording.
Handles
For each network you can enter the podcast's handle, or leave it blank. A blank handle means the post simply won't mention an account on that network; we don't go looking for one. Handles found on your website are marked so you can check they're yours.
Where it is available for your account, Instagram and Threads can be connected directly instead of typed, which confirms the handle is yours.
After you confirm
The copy and handles are locked. If you spot a mistake afterwards, reply to the confirmation email and we'll fix it before it publishes.
