Social Feature questions
Short answers to the questions we hear most about Social Features.
Do I have to own the podcast? No. Anyone can set up a feature for a show. If you're a fan, a producer or a network, go ahead.
Why do I have to confirm an email? It creates your Podcast Delivery account, signs you into the dashboard where the feature lives, and adds you to the newsletter. There is no password; every sign-in uses a link like this one.
Someone already featured my show. Can I still submit it? Yes. Each feature is reviewed on its own.
I don't have social accounts for the podcast. That's fine. Leave the handles blank and the post won't mention any accounts.
Can I choose the time of day? No. You choose the date; the time is the next free one of four fixed times, Pacific.
Can I move the date after confirming? Not from the dashboard. Reply to any email about the feature, or contact support.
Why hasn't my approval email arrived? Emails go out between 8:00 am and 11:00 pm Pacific, and the approval email can take a few hours. If you edited the copy or changed the date, the feature is waiting for a review first. Check your spam folder too.
I started a feature and got an email asking me to finish it. We send one reminder, about six hours after an unfinished setup, with a link back to where you stopped. Nothing is published unless you confirm the final step.
What is the signal-strength gauge? A rough measure of how much you've told us. More detail gives us more to write from, but a low reading doesn't stop you from continuing.
What files can I attach? Anything that helps us describe the show: press kits, images, one-sheets. Up to 25 MB per file.
How do I get into the newsletter? Engagement. The Monday edition picks the week's most liked and reshared features.
