Which dates are available

You can book any date from three days out to 45 days out, in Pacific time. Each day has a set number of features, and a date that is already full can't be selected. If you confirm a date and get a message that it is no longer available, someone took the last spot while you were deciding; choose another.

The time of day

You choose the date, and we set the time. Features go out at one of four times each day, Pacific: 5:45 am, 9:00 am, 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm. Yours takes the next free time on the date you picked. The calendar invite shows the date only.

When a feature is approved straight away

If you keep the date we offered and the post copy we wrote, your feature is scheduled as soon as you confirm it. An approval email arrives within a few hours. The subject starts with a tick and your podcast's name.

When a feature is reviewed first

Two things send a feature to our editors before it is scheduled:

  • You edited the post copy.
  • You chose a different date. We ask why the date matters so we can plan around it; the field is optional.

A reviewed feature still shows its expected date in your dashboard. If the review runs past the slot you picked, the feature moves to the next free one, so the date can shift. We review everything before it goes live and may adjust the final copy or decide what is published.

Changing or cancelling

Once a feature is confirmed you can't move the date or edit the post from the dashboard. If something has changed, reply to any email we've sent you about the feature, or contact support, and we'll sort it out by hand.

Emails

We send feature emails between 8:00 am and 11:00 pm Pacific. If you confirm late at night, the approval email waits for the morning.
